PowerHouse Energy

PowerHouse Energy (PowerHouse) is the AIM quoted developer of the G3-UHt gasification Waste-to-Energy unit and the creator of Distributed Modular Gasification (DMG) which allows for the elimination of waste, the generation of distributed energy and the production of distributed hydrogen. However, given the company's stage of development, it represents a speculative investment opportunity and hence is not without risk. On 24 August 2017, it announced that it had raised £1.6m (gross) in an oversubscribed fundraise at 1p. The proceeds will be used primarily to accelerate the engineering of the commercial platform for DMG, fund expansion of the team and ongoing research and testing. Application has been made for the placing shares to be admitted to trading on AIM and it is expected that dealings in these new shares will commence on or around 30 August 2017. PowerHouse also announced the appointment of Dr Cameron Davies as Non-Executive Chairman who will join on or about 1 October 2017 with Keith Allaun to revert to CEO to lead the commercial development of the business.
